I like to think of this quote as a reminder that we can't afford to focus on our weaknesses, but instead must focus on what we do best. Our weaknesses are things that just won't improve with time, so it's better to focus on the things we can change, and improve.
I think we all have different ideas about what our strengths and weaknesses are, but I believe it's important to constantly reevaluate those ideas. If something isn't working for you now, maybe it will work for you in the future? And if something is working now, maybe it will stop working later down the road?
I don't know about you, but I feel like my skillset changes pretty often. Sometimes I'm really into content creation or writing blog posts or something else that doesn't involve me talking much. Other times I feel like my skill is listening to other people talk about their passions and helping them figure out how they can make those passions happen.
The point is: there's no one way to be great at something—so why bother focusing on what doesn't work? Focus on what does work!
